We here at Indian Creek are enjoying our lives without excessive regulations (we only ask to comply with Cobb county code) and without mandatory fees. Which leaves us with the question: Who's gonna pay for the lawn service?

There's a tract of state-owned land in front of our subdivision, the size of about 30,000 sq.ft, which separates houses from Hwy. 92. There's a lot of grass on it, and some trees, a flower bed, and a temporary sign, which is in place for over 6 years now and still waiting for a permanent replacement.

The state does not care for this land, the county does not want it. We have to hire someone to cut and trim the grass and to do other lawn maintenance. We want our subdivision's entrance to be nice and neat, to increase the curb appeal, and to raise the value of our homes.

Currently, the lawn care costs  about $100/month (depending on the rain) in summer months. So, we are asking for donations, contributions, voluntary fees, you name it, anything that will help us to raise the money.

You can send contact me, Laine Liss, Secretary/Treasurer, and I can get you deposit slip for you to deposit directly to the bank account at Fifth Third Bank, or you can mail a check (made payable to Indian Creek Homeowners Association) to me. Please contact Laine Liss for details (click here to send email *).

Thanks and have a great day!
